EXTRACTION OF ROSE HIP OIL
The process begins with oil pick the fruit or bulb. Being a
plant that grows wild fully develops his collection as follows:
• Companies
that produce oil are those who buy small collections conducted by the locals.
Oil producers move from town to town buying small items which together are
carried dryers where they undergo a process of dehydration by sun exposure.
• Next,
dehydrated once the bulb is subjected to a process that is separated by rolling
pulpy part of the seed. The importance of this process is that even though the
bulb, as we mentioned above, is rich in vitamin C (a powerful antioxidant
plentiful in any diet), what really matters is the content of the seed due to
the large amount essential fatty acid possesses.
• Oil is
obtained by cold pressure of the fruit, the olive oil production process, once
have the seeds, they are subjected to the application of steam at high pressure
whereby the liberated oil mixed with water. Once that that occurs naturally
physical separation between water and oil, it is subjected to the winterization,
deodorization temperature and high vacuum. The degumming and neutralization to
stabilize the oil to prevent it from occurring in chemical changes. This whole
process completes with the additive a proportion of 0.5% of an antioxidant is
alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E). Do not forget this crucial final phase of the
process to prevent possible oxidation and subsequent decomposition of the oil.
