Rose Hip Oil: Part III

EXTRACTION OF ROSE HIP OIL

The process begins with oil pick the fruit or bulb. Being a plant that grows wild fully develops his collection as follows:
•             Companies that produce oil are those who buy small collections conducted by the locals. Oil producers move from town to town buying small items which together are carried dryers where they undergo a process of dehydration by sun exposure.
•             Next, dehydrated once the bulb is subjected to a process that is separated by rolling pulpy part of the seed. The importance of this process is that even though the bulb, as we mentioned above, is rich in vitamin C (a powerful antioxidant plentiful in any diet), what really matters is the content of the seed due to the large amount essential fatty acid possesses.
•             Oil is obtained by cold pressure of the fruit, the olive oil production process, once have the seeds, they are subjected to the application of steam at high pressure whereby the liberated oil mixed with water. Once that that occurs naturally physical separation between water and oil, it is subjected to the winterization, deodorization temperature and high vacuum. The degumming and neutralization to stabilize the oil to prevent it from occurring in chemical changes. This whole process completes with the additive a proportion of 0.5% of an antioxidant is alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E). Do not forget this crucial final phase of the process to prevent possible oxidation and subsequent decomposition of the oil.

Rosehip Oil is rich in skin-loving nutrients to improve skin.

•             Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids vital lipid compounds that hydrate the dry skin and improve the smoothness and elasticity of the same. Essential fatty acids are vital for the health of our skin, but our body cannot produce them.
•             Beta-carotene: A key nutrient for maintaining healthy skin and aid in skin cell renewal and repair. Helps repair skin suffering from the effects of sun damage.
•             The lipids found in Rosehip oil are similar to those found in the skin and therefore easily absorbed, leaving no oily residue.

Rose Hip Oil - Part II

SCIENTIFIC STUDIES ROSE HIP OIL

Although the Indians Patagonian rosehip used to maintain youthful skin, heal wounds and treat various ailments the therapeutic properties of its oil were officially "discovered" only thirty years ago thanks to a study by the School of Chemistry and Pharmacology the University of Concepcion in Chile and the results were astounding. It was noted that the continued application of the oil of this plant effectively helping to attenuate scars and wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin in almost 200 patients with scars caused by surgery, burns, and other conditions that caused premature aging, and all this without causing adverse reactions or side effects.

Obviously this interesting work has been followed by many others over the three decades that have achieved the intended contrast properties of this plant. Not to make the list too long will mention only some of the institutions that have conducted research on rosehip oil: Department of Dermatology, University of Munich (Germany), Kingston University (UK) , the Mayo Clinic (USA), the University Hospital of Geneva (Switzerland), Central Michigan University (USA), the University of Wales (UK), the University of Milan (Italy), the hospital University of Helsinki (Finland) and the National Cancer Institute of the United States, among many others worldwide.

Well, the conclusion reached by the researchers is that the therapeutic benefits of this oil that reside in its interesting nutritional composition, rich-as mentioned-fatty acids and vitamins. Thus, for example, has a high content of linoleic acid (about 45% of its composition) and linolenic acid (about 30%), essential fatty acids and polyunsaturated that confer flexibility to the permeability of cell membranes and are directly related to the synthesis of collagen and elastin, substances that give strength and elasticity to the skin. Besides these polyunsaturated acids regulating defense mechanisms and cell growth as well as the biological processes involved in the regeneration of different tissues. But also, rosehip oil contains oleic acid and lesser amounts of palmitic, stearic and arachidonic also contribute to its renowned regenerative capacity.

Another significant-compound largely responsible biological properties of this oil on the skin and tissue-trans retinoic acid is the tretinoin or that it is in small concentrations (from 0.01 to 0.5%) but sufficient to confer the ability rosehip reduce tumorigenicity of cells and epidermopoyesis and accelerate tissue regeneration, reducing the size and improving the appearance of scars, including old-to attenuate or eliminate the wrinkles and prevent the signs of premature skin aging. It also has a marked anti-inflammatory action as scientists discovered Samecki Pommer and who attributed the finding of this form of vitamin A.

Rosehip Oil - Great Properties for Skin

Rosehip Oil is a natural antioxidant, moisturizing, nourishing, firming, restorative and re-pigmenting, among other properties. It is used to heal wounds, clear stretch marks, reduce wrinkles, remove skin blemishes, and restore the smoothness of the skin for burns.

Rosehip Oil is extracted from the seeds of deep red, the wild rose bush that grows in the cold valleys, lush rain forests and mountains of the southern Andes, in Chile.

This wild rose is known by the people of Chile as "Rosa Mosqueta", and by scientists refer to it as Rosa affinis rubiginosa. Curative and cosmetic properties were a well-kept secret of the native people of Chile for centuries. Now they have been validated by scientific research worldwide. Its seeds obtained a yellowish oil that is considered one of the re-generators and most powerful rejuvenating dermal and there also does not produce any undesirable side effect, it was found that this oil helps prevent skin cancer caused by overexposure the sun, which contributes to a faster repair of burned skin or exposed to radiation, attenuated or even deleted hypertrophic scars, preventing and combating unsightly stretch marks and regenerates faster tissues after surgery besides delaying the onset of signs of aging skin, among other properties.

ORIGIN AND DESCRIPTION

The Rosehip is originally from Central Europe, where it is grown mainly in Poland, the Balkans, Hungary, Russia and the Caucasus, but also in Africa and India. He arrived in South America, mainly Chile during the conquest. The natives used this plant Araucanians and Multipurpose healthy and healthy skin. Today is one of Chile's national plants, but the plant extends its Andean environment as it can stand from sea level to 2,000 m.

The rose hip is a shrub that can exceed 2 m in height, their stems are thin, flexible and curved spines covered with purplish. The leaves are deciduous, alternate, compound with 5-9 leaflets, serrated edges and polished. The flowers show five free petals, pink or pink and white musky odor, and terminals in dense panicles, stamens are of a bright yellow. Flowering occurs only once per season. The fruit’s colors are either red or orange, with spiny sepals remains in its end, 1-3 cm long.

BENEFITS OF ROSE HIP OIL

•             Regenerates tissues: This oil, as mentioned rich in fatty acids, accelerates the regeneration and repair. In fact is the skin re-generator strongest known. Hence surgeons increasingly used to treat skin after surgery or in cases of burns, scars, stretch marks, bedsores, wrinkles and any condition where the skin needs to regenerate. For example, it has been proven to help repair damaged skin burns of first and second degree, those caused by the sun and even radiation burns. But it is also very useful to recover the skin after sun waxing, a peeling, shaving, etc..
•             It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin: But its effects are not confined to the epidermis but transcend deeper layers of the skin where fibroblasts invigorates, skin cells that produce collagen and elastin, responsible for firmness and elasticity of the skin and tissue, and very involved, as we shall see in the appearance of striae.
•             Reduces scars from any cause: Although they are old, hypertrophic, keloid, produced by acne or chickenpox, resulting from a skin transplant, a surgery or accident. All significantly improve skin appearance and smoothes besides recovering its softness and smoothness. At least that was demonstrated as a result of that first study in the Chilean university.
•             Hydrates in depth rosehip oil barrier ceramides reinforced inside the epidermal cells of reducing water loss from the skin. Furthermore, due to its high level of penetration also affects skin changes that favor deep hydration of the skin, especially in areas more prone to wrinkles or roughness (hands, heels, elbows, etc..)
•             Fight aging: Al nourish and hydrate the cells rosehip oil daily-used-helps eliminate wrinkles shallow, slow the onset and attenuate other lines. It also prevents the signs of photo-aging by self-generation of melanin. The skin regains its freshness and vigor and it erases unsightly bags and dark circles aging appearance of the people who suffer.
•             Redistributes skin pigmentation: For its ability to generate melanin rose hip oil helps to correct skin problems due to overexposure to the sun, including sunspots. Also evens skin tone all over the body and eliminates hyper-pigmentation and melasma, chloasma and lentigo.
•             Prevents skin cancer: And what does this through several mechanisms. For example, activating the self-generation of melanin and minimizing the negative effects of UV radiation due to its recognized antioxidant and neutralizing free radicals.
•             Improves blood circulation: rosehip oil accelerates and regulates the rhythm of microvasculature i.e. improves blood flow and nutritional substances replenishing the areas where applied.
•             It has anti-inflammatory properties: It has been proven to reduce inflammation and congestion of the tissues.
•             It is Energizing: Provides metabolic energy cells so they can carry out their important functions.
•             Restores and protects hair: Acts as a natural restorative scalp and hair, especially as it is dry, stained or damaged by the sun, chlorine, cold, etc..Simply apply it to the roots and leave it on for a couple of hours before washing your hair normally. The results are immediate.
