Rosehip Oil is extracted from the seeds of deep red, the
wild rose bush that grows in the cold valleys, lush rain forests and mountains
of the southern Andes, in Chile.
This wild rose is known by the people of Chile as "Rosa
Mosqueta", and by scientists refer to it as Rosa affinis rubiginosa.
Curative and cosmetic properties were a well-kept secret of the native people
of Chile for centuries. Now they have been validated by scientific research
worldwide. Its seeds obtained a yellowish oil that is considered one of the re-generators and most powerful rejuvenating dermal and there also does not
produce any undesirable side effect, it was found that this oil helps prevent
skin cancer caused by overexposure the sun, which contributes to a faster
repair of burned skin or exposed to radiation, attenuated or even deleted
hypertrophic scars, preventing and combating unsightly stretch marks and
regenerates faster tissues after surgery besides delaying the onset of signs of
aging skin, among other properties.
ORIGIN AND DESCRIPTION
The Rosehip is originally from Central Europe, where it is
grown mainly in Poland, the Balkans, Hungary, Russia and the Caucasus, but also
in Africa and India. He arrived in South America, mainly Chile during the
conquest. The natives used this plant Araucanians and Multipurpose healthy and
healthy skin. Today is one of Chile's national plants, but the plant extends
its Andean environment as it can stand from sea level to 2,000 m.
The rose hip
is a shrub that can exceed 2 m in height, their stems are thin, flexible and
curved spines covered with purplish. The leaves are deciduous, alternate,
compound with 5-9 leaflets, serrated edges and polished. The flowers show five
free petals, pink or pink and white musky odor, and terminals in dense
panicles, stamens are of a bright yellow. Flowering occurs only once per
season. The fruit’s colors are either red or orange, with spiny sepals remains
in its end, 1-3 cm long.
BENEFITS OF ROSE HIP OIL
• Regenerates
tissues: This oil, as mentioned rich in fatty acids, accelerates the
regeneration and repair. In fact is the skin re-generator strongest known. Hence
surgeons increasingly used to treat skin after surgery or in cases of burns,
scars, stretch marks, bedsores, wrinkles and any condition where the skin needs
to regenerate. For example, it has been proven to help repair damaged skin
burns of first and second degree, those caused by the sun and even radiation
burns. But it is also very useful to recover the skin after sun waxing, a
peeling, shaving, etc..
• It
stimulates the production of collagen and elastin: But its effects are not
confined to the epidermis but transcend deeper layers of the skin where
fibroblasts invigorates, skin cells that produce collagen and elastin, responsible
for firmness and elasticity of the skin and tissue, and very involved, as we
shall see in the appearance of striae.
• Reduces
scars from any cause: Although they are old, hypertrophic, keloid, produced by
acne or chickenpox, resulting from a skin transplant, a surgery or accident.
All significantly improve skin appearance and smoothes besides recovering its
softness and smoothness. At least that was demonstrated as a result of that
first study in the Chilean university.
• Hydrates
in depth rosehip oil barrier ceramides reinforced inside the epidermal cells of
reducing water loss from the skin. Furthermore, due to its high level of
penetration also affects skin changes that favor deep hydration of the skin,
especially in areas more prone to wrinkles or roughness (hands, heels, elbows,
etc..)
• Fight
aging: Al nourish and hydrate the cells rosehip oil daily-used-helps eliminate
wrinkles shallow, slow the onset and attenuate other lines. It also prevents
the signs of photo-aging by self-generation of melanin. The skin regains its
freshness and vigor and it erases unsightly bags and dark circles aging
appearance of the people who suffer.
• Redistributes
skin pigmentation: For its ability to generate melanin rose hip oil helps to
correct skin problems due to overexposure to the sun, including sunspots. Also
evens skin tone all over the body and eliminates hyper-pigmentation and melasma,
chloasma and lentigo.
• Prevents
skin cancer: And what does this through several mechanisms. For example,
activating the self-generation of melanin and minimizing the negative effects
of UV radiation due to its recognized antioxidant and neutralizing free radicals.
• Improves
blood circulation: rosehip oil accelerates and regulates the rhythm of
microvasculature i.e. improves blood flow and nutritional substances replenishing
the areas where applied.
• It has
anti-inflammatory properties: It has been proven to reduce inflammation and
congestion of the tissues.
• It is
Energizing: Provides metabolic energy cells so they can carry out their
important functions.
• Restores
and protects hair: Acts as a natural restorative scalp and hair, especially as
it is dry, stained or damaged by the sun, chlorine, cold, etc..Simply apply it
to the roots and leave it on for a couple of hours before washing your hair
normally. The results are immediate.
